Welcome to the STAR Project!

The STAR Project is about health students and staff  Standing Together Against Racism in health care.

The STAR Project supports Australia’s Anti-Racism Strategy initiated by the National Human Rights Commission, Racism:  It Stops With Me, by ‘taking on’ racism inside health.

Sporting bodies have signed up to support the anti-racism strategy and it’s time that health students and staff do the same with the a national campaign against racism in health care. It seems a little crazy that making racist comments on the sporting field is now more actively opposed than racism in health care, where it that targets our most vulnerable citizens.
